Since freshman year of high school, I’ve wanted to donate my hair; however, I talked myself out of it countless times or my hair dresser simply wouldn’t let me do it. Well, on Friday, I finally sucked it up and cut off 12 inches.
I think I’m going to let my hair grow out every year and then donate it since my hair grows about an inch every month.
On a foodie note, here’s a superfood smoothie I had before spin class on Saturday:
1 cup unsweetened almond milk, frozen acai, kale, half of a frozen banana, a few ice cubes, chia, flax, and pumpkin seeds. Blend.
I think smoothies/green drinks are great pre-workouts because they’re easy to digest.
