Hawaiian Turkey Burgers & Butternut Squash Fries
I did some minor tweaking on AAG’s Recipe for the turkey burgers, but for the most part it was followed almost thoroughly. Contrary to sweet potato (illegal on the scd) fries, however, butternut squash fries were made in their place to compliment this burger. Preheat your oven to 450. Peel the skin off of the butternut squash, de-seed it, and cut into “fry” shapes. Coat your fries in olive oil, some salt and chili powder if so desired. Lay them out on a tray and bake them for approximately 20 minutes on each side.
