My photographs of food may be a little bit deceiving. Although the recipes appear intricate and fancy, let me fill you in on a little secret… they really are not. Most of the time I cook in bulk and then store the excess in the freezer. We LOVE food that freezes well. It is tremendously helpful to be able to reach into the freezer, grab what we need/want to eat for the next several days and then place whatever that may be into the fridge to thaw naturally.
Speaking of which, these mini meat loafs by Against All Grain freeze extremely well. However, I am almost certain that any meat loaf recipe would freeze well.
The ketchup was also made in bulk, so a few containers of the homemade condiment went into the freezer for later use. The mashed cauliflower, on the other hand, must be made fresh (as far as my culinary knowledge goes, I do not think that cooked vegetables should be frozen).
