Grains upset my stomach, so I avoid them 95% of the time. Therefore, the “bread” in this recipe is predominantly made from almonds. I think it tastes amazing, but others may not agree. However, my boyfriend compared my recipe to cinnamon raisin bread (the glutinous kind).
FYI: If you follow the SCD (Specific Carbohydrate Diet), then you are in luck. I used all “legal” ingredients in this bread :). The bread is “paleo”, too.
The fennel spread, on the other hand, is a peculiar combination of ingredients that surprisingly taste good together.
