I love adding spirulina to my overnight oats, smoothies, and smoothie bowls. For one, its color is absolutely gorgeous–think “Tiffany” blue. Spirulina is also rich in protein, vitamins, minerals, carotenoids, and antioxidants.
– 1 frozen banana
– 1/2 cup hemp or almond milk
– 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (i.e. Sunwarrior or Vega)
– 1.5 tsp spirulina powder
– 1 tsp Matcha powder
– 1/4 cup Purely Elizabeth Oatmeal
– bee pollen
– goji berries
-Purely Elizabeth Granola
Blend first six ingredients together in a high-speed blender. Alternatively, you can blend the first five ingredients, and then mix in the oats by hand. Sprinkle with your favorite toppings/superfoods.
