Does this recipe taste exactly like the brownie batter your mother let you lick off the metallic hand mixer when you were younger? I highly doubt it…especially since I added a heaping cup of kale to the chocolaty blend. However, the alliterative title is rather alluring, no?
– 3/4 cup almond milk or other non-dairy milk (try hemp or rice milk for nut-free)
– 1 frozen banana
– 1 cup kale
– 1 scoop Chocolate Vega Protein
– 1.5 TBS cacao powder
– 1 TBS maca powder
– 2 TBS chia seeds
Toppings: bee pollen, cacao nibs or carob chips, and Enjoy Life Crunchy Flax Original Cereal.
In a high-speed blender, blend ingredients together until smooth. Then, add toppings if desired.
